WOA

What does WOA stand for?

Work of art

The phrase "work of art" can be used to compliment any well-crafted object or well-executed maneuver. For example, a sick burn, killer skateboard trick, and delicious cheeseburger can all be called works of art. In text and chat messages, people sometimes shorten work of art to WOA, so they don't have to type out the entire phrase.

In some cases, people may use WOA sarcastically - pointing out that something is neither well-crafted nor well-executed. For example, if you burn a pizza to a crisp and then send a picture of the pizza to a friend, that friend may sarcastically call the pizza a WOA.
