TAU

TAU lets a person know that the sender is thinking about and perhaps praying for them. People often send TAU in online messages or texts to people experiencing something challenging, such as the death of a loved one or a loss of a job.

For example, If your sister's dog just died, you might message her, "TAU, sis. Plz LMK if there's anything I can do to help." Or, your friend's house may be flooded, and you message her, "I'm sorry to hear about your home. TAU, bud." People may also use TAY instead of TAU.
