SMUN

What does SMUN stand for?

Send me your number

Someone who wants your digits may use SMUN to mean "send me your number." Hopefully, you know this person well enough that this request isn't coming out of the blue ...

Common reasons someone might ask for your number include:

  • You need to meet up IRL later
  • The person thinks a voice conversation would be easier than chatting
  • The person wants to call you in the future, because they won't have access to a computer

You're most likely to encounter SMUN while chatting online or scrolling through your DMs. (Again, don't give out your phone number if you don't feel comfortable doing so!)
