ROTFL

What does ROTFL stand for?

Rolling on the floor laughing

When something is so funny that it deserves more than an LOL, send "ROTFL." You don't have to literally be rolling around on the floor and laughing, just feeling like you could.

Most people send ROTFL when texting or online (they may be messaging or commenting on a person's funny post on social media). For example, your friend may reply with "ROTFL" after you post a video of a skateboard fail.

It is commonly seen as ROFL and is one of many hyperbolic acronyms for replying to something funny. Other examples include LMAO and PMP.
