BNR

What does BNR stand for?

But not really

People sometimes follow up statements they didn't mean with BNR (but not really). For example, someone who sends you "I got a job! ... BNR" did not actually get a job (or, it's complicated).

Most often, people use BNR as a follow-up to JK, to assert they weren't really kidding. This can be mildly confusing, and it will likely leave you wondering about the person you're talking with's true feelings ...

Example

Maybe you should ask him out! JK ... BNR

A woman who is about to send BNR
